Terms of Service

CampusHustle is a Lusaka-based marketplace that connects students offering skills with businesses and individuals who need work done. We provide the platform only — we are not a party to any agreement between a student and a business.

You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your login details private. One person or business per account. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

If you are under 18 you may create a student account, but your account stays in “Pending parent approval” until a parent or guardian confirms it through the approval link we generate for you. Until then you can browse gigs but cannot apply or message businesses. By signing up you confirm that your parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy on your behalf.

Businesses must describe gigs honestly, including budget and deadline. To keep the board clean, each business account can post up to 5 gigs per day. Students must only apply for work they can realistically deliver. A gig closes when both the business and the student confirm it is complete.

No harassment, discrimination, scams, spam, illegal work, or requests for anything unsafe or inappropriate — especially towards student users. We may suspend or remove any account that breaks these rules.

Payments are currently arranged directly between the business and the student. Mobile money escrow is being built; until it launches, CampusHustle does not hold, transfer or guarantee any funds.

A “Verified Student” badge means we reviewed a submitted student ID or school details. It is not a guarantee of quality or conduct — always use your own judgement.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deleting removes your profile, portfolio, gigs, applications and messages from our systems. We may also close accounts that breach these Terms.

CampusHustle is provided “as is”. We are not liable for the quality, safety, legality or payment of any gig arranged through the platform.
