Privacy Policy

Account details (name, email, role, profile photo), student details (school, course, year, skills, rate, bio, portfolio images), gig and application content, and messages you send through the platform. For students under 18 we also collect date of birth and a parent or guardian's name and phone or email.

To run your account, show your profile and gigs to the right people, match students with work, verify students, obtain guardian consent for minors, and keep the platform safe.

Student profiles (name, photo, school, course, year, skills, rate, bio and portfolio) are public so businesses can find you. Gigs are public. Messages are only visible to the people in the conversation. Your email, date of birth and guardian details are never shown publicly.

Guardian contact details are used only to request approval for a student under 18 and to record that approval. We do not use them for marketing.

Data is stored on our managed cloud database with row-level access rules, and uploaded images are kept in private storage served through short-lived signed links.

You can edit your profile at any time, and delete your account from profile settings. Deleting removes your profile, portfolio, gigs, applications and messages. To request a copy of your data, email apexendorg@gmail.com.
